Travis Archer

My name is Travis Archer. I am a professional Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). With over 12 years of experience I continue to dedicate my life to helping people thrive in their personal, professional, and spirtual life.
My mission at Stronger Mind is to equip men that are committed to developing strength, discipline, and self-mastery in all areas of their life. I work with men who may have mastered disciple in the gym. or in the corporate world, but are struggling at home or in their relationships. My emphasis on driving men to “Train hard. Lead well” encapsulates the approach that I take when coaching or counselling men to become better leaders in their homes, communities, and workplaces.

My Counselling Approach
Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a clinically proven form of treatment that has been effective for a range of problmes including depression, anxiety disorders, addictions, marital problems, and other sever mental illnesses.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is a clinically proven counselling approach that emphasizes action on the part of the client. The goal, in time, is to help the client confront and understand your thoughts and feelings; focussing on understanding them rather than simply trying to change them.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
An evidence-based approach that helps individuals manage intense emotions and build (rebuild) meaning into their life. DBT is effective for a wide range of intense emotions and/or conditions including: Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), self-harm, suicidal behavior, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Substance use Disorder, Eating Disorders, Depression, and Anxiety.
